SAN FRANCISCO, CA: Forecross® Corporation
(OTCBB: FRXX), a legacy-to-web and XML implementation solutions company announced today
that it has launched an online demonstration of its SmartXML solution for web-enabling
legacy applications.
The demonstration is up and running on the Company's web site, www.forecross.com.
"The Forecross SmartXML solution offers the customer an automated translation
of trusted legacy programs into XML processing components. This is not a middleware
solution and this is not a mere screen scraper. The software actually translates the
application programs into XML-enabled web service components, capable of communicating
with other applications and devices, such as palm pilots, phones, PCs and pagers, using
internet standard technologies," commented Kim O. Jones, CEO and Chief Technology
Officer. "We believe that this software helps fulfill the promise of both XML and EAI
as well as the emerging opportunity of internet-based, loosely coupled web services.
SmartXML-enabled applications are also easily reused as objects or can be deployed as
parts of new applications."
