SAN FRANCISCO, CA: Forecross®
Corporation (VSE-FRX.U), a leading legacy Migration and year 2000 solution company,
announced today the results of rigorous benchmark testing of its Complete/2000tm factory
server computers. Measurements taken on the slowest of the 35 machines in the
Complete/2000tm production engine pegged the facility's capacity to parse, analyze and
renovate code for year 2000 compliance at just over 35 million lines per 24 hours of
machine time. While this throughput number does not include the time between analysis and
renovation when the customer is reviewing the date impact results, each of the 35
production servers runs independently of the others and workload management techniques
allow virtually all machines to be producing at all times.
"Our Complete/2000 production engine
will allow Forecross and the marketing and consulting branches of our teaming partners to
offer customers what we believe is the fastest turnaround time for Y2K code analysis and
renovation in the industry," stated Kim O. Jones, President and CEO. "We look
forward to demonstrating this dramatic production capability to any qualified, interested
party." Forecross also announced today that it received recognition by the San
Francisco Business Times when the newspaper published a list of the 100 Fastest Growing
Public Companies in the Bay Area.
Forecross Corporation is featured in this select
group ranking as number twenty. The companies were selected based on percent revenue
growth over eleven quarters (approximately a three year period), and used an algorithm to
extrapolate an average growth percentage curve to smooth any aberrations from spikes.
Other companies recognized (and their rankings) included Ascend Communications (three), E
Trade (twelve), Peoplesoft (twenty-five), Hambrecht & Quist (fifty-two), Oracle
(seventy-two), Wells Fargo (seventy-seven), Charles Schwab (eighty-four) and Williams
Sonoma (ninety-eight).
